ABOUT
ME!
Tanesha "KSYN" Cason ( pronounced Kay-Sin), is no stranger to the stage. Born and raised in the Bronx, with her piercing eyes, radiant smile, and over 15 years of industry experience, Ksyn has surely made a name and a brand all of her own.

At the tender age of 4/5, her mother decided to put her in dance class (ballet) so she could channel her energy into something fun and constructive. As Ksyn got older she became heavily into sports like basketball, began to learn different styles of dance like African, started Girl Scouts as a Junior, joined her school (Christ the King School in The Bronx) chess & debate club, was published in the book Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans (Vol. XXVII) and was one of three Salutatorians all between the ages of 10 - 13.

Ksyn continued her athleticism through her high school (Bronx Leadership Academy) years joining the track and field club, cheer leading (captain) and even began to train in martial arts (Shotokan). On the educational side Ksyn was apart of her schools National Honor Society as well as secretary of the School's Student Government (9th and 12th grade years). To add on to her work load Ksyn began stepping and modeling with a youth group in her hometown of The Bronx.

“Being apart of this youth group, helped me as a teen. It kept me out of trouble and off the streets. They opened the door to a lot of opportunities that I may not have had. For example how many teens did you know growing up had the opportunity to step at the white house, perform along side some talented and amazing artists for a major Seventeen Magazine event and even was presented the opportunity to dance back up for Alicia Keys (the Maxwell Tour) all before the age of 17…”

She continued her academic excellence through out college becoming President of the club SISTUHS (3 years),a cheerleader for her schools basketball team, a residential assistant, and active member of the dance program where she received the Outstanding Achievement in Dance award, The Denise Messier Memorial Dance Scholarship, and the opportunity to audition for the American Dance Festival full scholarship (via The American Collage Dance Festival) which she obtained not once but twice held at Duke University in North Carolina. In the spring of 2005, Ksyn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Arts Management with a concentration in Dance in Rindge, NH, moved back to New York and proceeded to pick up where she left off. Before long Ksyn was landing jobs like Elle Girl, Dance Spirit, XXL, Hype Hair Magazines and music videos with artists like Usher, Mary J Blige, Ciara, Jeremih, 50 cent, Beyoncé and Drake (to name a few).

After linking up with one of the top dance agencies, Bloc NYC, she has toured/performed with stars like Sean Paul, Beyonce, Beyonce & Jay Z, Ciara, Jeremih, N.E.R.D, Ashanti, Joe Thomas and 2 tours with Drake, Aubrey and the Three Migos, and Assassination Vacation Tours where she holds the title of Dance Captain. You can also catch Ksyn in seasons 1 - 5 of the hit show Lip Sync Battle hosted by LL Cool J assisted by his colorful commentator Chrissy Teigen and In the Heights movie written by Lin - Manuel, Quiara Algeria Hudes, and directed by Jon M.
