The Battlefield
Why does everything seem like a battle?
A battle being a woman…
A battle being an independent woman…
A battle doing things that women love to do…
A battle to do what you love…
A battle to make money doing what you love...
A battle to make money...
A battle to love...
A battle being yourself…
A battle being honest...
A battle being true...
A battle setting boundaries...
A battle of having common fucking sense… (since it's not so common)
No one suddenly wakes up one day and thinks , "Hey, all those incredible things you've worked so hard for are meaningless…" unless they themselves have actually never done anything!
Not everybody needs humbling!
Some people just can’t stand to see others doing well emotionally, academically, professionally, physically…
Your strength reminds them of what they haven't healed.
Your success reflects the work they haven’t done and your tranquility reveals the light they’ve attempted to diminish.
We need to stop believing it's our responsibility to humble individuals who have never behaved as if they were superior to others.
At times, people are simply evolving.
Sometimes they are healing, and sometimes they are merely trying to live without being pressured to diminish themselves for the comfort of others.
True humility isn’t about tearing others down. It’s about being secure enough in yourself that you don’t feel the need to.
And if someone’s strength threatens your sense of self, then maybe it’s not them who needs the humbling.
The battle continues...
